Summer in NY City can only be topped by one thing — taking a boat ride around Manhattan on a beautiful afternoon! As the boat departed Chelsea, we rode north up the Hudson River toward the Intrepid Museum, then as sunset approached we looped back downtown and toward the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a wonderfully successful corporate event and a terrific evening!

Photographing this NY City tech conference for a leading social media company was great! Journalists from NYC & the northeast gathered at this special event to brainstorm app ideas to help them do their job better.

A journalist at heart, I used my photojournalist skills to cover this business networking event. I covered the event with a range of wide angle overall shots of the room, as well as telephoto shots of the participants in action. As always my photography shooting was low-key and unobtrusive..

Rockefeller Center has got to be one of the most exciting venues to hold a corporate party, and offers its guests among the most spectacular and special views in midtown Manhattan. The space hosts between 300-500 people and the Sea Grill serves delicious food.

Who doesn’t love a birthday party?! From the time we’re small kids wearing birthday hats at our neighbor’s birthday parties, we love getting together and celebrating happy times…

I was honored to have covered a very special evening in NY City when friends and family gathered to celebrate actor Paul Sorvino’s birthday, which coincided with the 25th anniversary of his film “Goodfellas”. The birthday cake was decorated with movie memorabilia including cigars and wads of cash.

Mr. Sorvino’s dear friend, Governor Andrew Cuomo, raised his glass and toasted Mr. Sorvino’s wonderfulness and vast talents, after which guests were treated to a gorgeous operatic performance by the guest of honor.

Teamwork is so important for businesses to be successful these days.
